The French-Slovenian Business Club Annual General Meeting 2026

On 16 April 2026, the French-Slovenian Business Club – Club CAFS held its Annual General Meeting at Bistro Švicarija, set within the greenery of Ljubljana’s Tivoli Park.

We warmly thank all members who attended, and extend our sincere gratitude to the French Ambassador, Ms. Fabienne Runyo, for her presence and continued support of the club.

A venue with history

In 1835, the Casino Association of Ljubljana opened a place of amusement above Tivoli Mansion. When Austrian Marshal Joseph Radetzky resided there, he had a Swiss-style house — the Schweizerhaus — built alongside it, which gave the place its name. Bienale In 1908 it was replaced by Tivoli Hotel, designed by architect Ciril Metod Koch, which became a famous meeting place for Ljubljana’s citizens, artists and bohemians. After the Second World War, Švicarija became the cradle of post-war Slovenian sculpture. Bienale Today it operates as a creative and residential centre under the International Centre of Graphic Arts, home to artists’ studios, residencies and a rich public programme. Mglc
