Ljubljana, March 4, 2025 – The French-Slovenian Business Club gathered business leaders and experts for an insightful discussion on navigating today’s unpredictable economic and geopolitical landscape. Held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the event provided valuable perspectives on global and local economic trends, trade dynamics, and market shifts.
Our members and guests had a unique opportunity to meet Hervé Ochsenbein, Head of the Regional Economic Service, who was visiting Slovenia. He provided a broader European economic outlook, covering current GDP growth trends and the impact of geopolitical developments. Bojan Ivanc, Chief Economist at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, presented the latest official data on Slovenia’s economy, offering a clear analysis of the current situation and future projections. Ivan Loizeau, Director of Intermodal and Logistics for Central and Southeast Europe at CMA CGM, shared firsthand insights into global market dynamics, emphasizing how changes in shipping capacity often serve as an early indicator of economic shifts.
