21 October 2021 – We were hosting special wine tasting evening for our club members. The “fil rouge” of the evening where stories that connect Slovenian wine makers with France. We were sampling the variety of Slovenian wine selection and we have chosen one wine as the biggest surprise of the evening.
The evening was hosted by Mr. Gregor Kren, sommelier level 1 by ASI organization and Level 3 by WSET (Wine And Spirit Education Trust). Currently he is finishing the last level 4 in Rust, Burgenland in Austria, where he will be among officially top 7 well educated wine experts in Slovenia after passing the final exam. He is also owner of a brand Pop Up Wine Festival, which is one of the most sophisticated wine festival in Lower Carniola where for the last past 5 years you can find participants from the wine world from not only just Slovenia but also Croatia, Macedonia, Monte Negro, France and Portugal.
