Hype or hope?
We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent club event, “Exploring the Power of AI,” held at the picturesque CUBO golf course in Ljubljana on Thursday, June 15th.
Our event brought together members of the French Slovenian Business Club to delve into the exciting world of AI. Presenting from an expert standpoint, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Uroš Čibej from the Faculty of Computer Science and Dr. Martin Znidarsic from the renowned Jožef Stefan Institute. They offered a balanced perspective on the AI frenzy, sharing where we stand on the adoption curve and unveiling everyday AI examples that have been shaping our lives for years.
The audience was captivated by the success stories of AI applications in production processes, brilliantly shared by Mrs. Dr. Nika Brili from Rudolfovo Institute, as well as the groundbreaking AI projects in the medical field by Mr. Tomi Ilijas‘s Arcture d.o.o. Their work in cancer detection showcased how AI can minimize human error and assist medical experts.
Slovenia has undoubtedly emerged as a hub of knowledge and innovation in AI, with our scientists and pioneering companies leading the charge!
Our event highlighted that the future of AI development and its benefits to humanity depend on our current value systems and our ability to think outside the box. It was truly inspiring to witness the wealth of expertise and progress Slovenia has made in the field of AI.
